Ignitis Group achieves prestigious CDP ‘A’ score for environmental leadership

Ignitis Group has been recognised by CDP, a global environmental non-profit, for its leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change, securing a place on CDP’s respected annual A List.

CDP operates the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system and assesses thousands of companies each year, having spent 25 years building the world’s most trusted environmental data system. In 2025, nearly 20,000 companies were scored, out of more than 22,100 reporting through CDP’s platform. Achieving a score of ‘A’ places Ignitis Group among the global leaders, which demonstrates its comprehensive disclosure, mature environmental governance practices, and meaningful progress towards environmental resilience. Securing a place on the A List means that the company is among the top 4% of companies scored by CDP.

Baltic companies honoured at Nasdaq ceremony in New York: Ignitis Group named the best investor relations company in Lithuania

On 24 November 2025, during the Nasdaq closing bell ceremony at Times Square in New York, six Baltic companies were recognised, including Ignitis Group, which was named the best investor relations company in Lithuania for the second year in a row.

The aim of this prestigious event is to highlight Baltic companies that, in the Nasdaq Baltic Awards 2025, were recognised for outstanding achievements in transparency, corporate governance and investor relations.

The ceremony featured Ignitis Group and Neo Finance from Lithuania, CleanR Grupa and Latvenergo from Latvia, and LHV Group and Tallink Grupp from Estonia. The laureates were selected based on publicly disclosed information, trading activity and assessments by market participants.

145 MW Stelpe solar farm reaches full commercial operations

The 72.5 megawatt (MW) Stelpe solar farm II, developed in Latvia by Ignitis Renewables, an international green energy company, has reached the commercial operation date. The project is located in the southern part of Latvia, Bauska municipality. The solar farm, which covers 85 hectares, is equipped with 121 thousand solar panels. The investments in the project, including the acquisition and construction costs, should amount to approximately EUR 54 million.

Stelpe solar farm II is a part of the Stelpe solar project, which consists of two sites, each with a capacity of 72.5 MW. The project has a combined installed capacity of 145 MW and will cover the electricity demand of around 70 thousand households.

Ignitis Renewables is actively continuing the development of renewable energy projects in Latvia. This year, the commercial operation date was also reached by the 94 MW Varme solar farm, and the development of the 174 MW Tume solar farm is on track. These solar farms, with a combined installed capacity exceeding 400 MW, will be able to cover the electricity demand of nearly 200 thousand households.
